Mrs. Rangel is a great counselor. She is knowledgeable, kind, and focused on her students. Her hard work helped me get into a very selective university. My parents didn't go to college. I am the first to have this amzing opportunity. Mrs. Rangel is one of the many teachers who helped me along the way.

A Student

I feel that Larella is an intelligent person and has passion for her career but it doesn't always seem to come off that way to all students and staff members. In my personal experiences with her,she is knowlegeable of some things,very knowlegeable on other things,very friendly to both students and staff members,willing to put in the extra help,and at times she can be under a lot of work and come off as ignoring some students and just caring only about herself.I think some time management would benefit her in those times. As far as I know,what I have seen and heard around school,she treats everyone fairly with the up most respect.I can admit there have been times I felt she was full of herself and not caring one bit about the students but she makes up for it in the long run by being helpful,someone who you can speak to about educational purposes to personal issues,you can say hi to her in the hall and she'll respond back,she is always wondering how you're doing,will do recommendations if you need it for an application,uses her own experiences,educational background and training when helping students confront or resolve issues. She's willing to speak to parents,acknowledges you when out and about of school,and overall is a well-rounded person and perfessional.I think this school is a suitable place for her and she feels comfortable being there, if so,I hope she keeps staying there leaving positive impressions on those around her.Others may think that she doesn't leave positive impressions on others,but I think she does.I hope this review helps anybody who wonders about Larella and how she is in her career and how she acts as a professional.I have read some other reviews and they aren't just,they don't really explain much about her.They usually say negative things without an explaination,and this one you could say is a positive one,and it does have explainations because well,its who she is and I'm glad I have gotten the chance to know her, because this is how I truly feel about her.
