This teacher was fond of displaying her hypocracy. One example is that she would verbally scold students who were late, but when she was late or unable to attend class there was no problem. She frequently made grammar mistakes which confused the entire class, and mixed up the plot elements in books we were required to read for in-class writing assignments (during which she would ignore the class and read). This behavior was only valuable in that it let us know how valueless what she said or did really was, and initiated a level of discomfort for me in the school environment which lasted late into my college years. I had to unlearn what she taught me in order to survive in college.
