Concerned Student
Unfortunately, Coach Steward is lost in her own little world and the students/athletes around her continue to suffer because of her unwillingness to adapt to a changing environment. She has no idea how to motivate her players other than using pure intimidation and has a mindset that something that worked 20 years ago will still work today because she does not have to capability alter her methods based on a team’s strength from year to year. If you take a look at the recent history of the teams that she has coached, they continue to perform at sub-par levels and the resentment toward her has grown at an alarming pace because of the pathetic attitude she displays toward her players when they’re away from the public eye. Honestly, she needs to retire immediately but that is not going to happen because she has found a security blanket in the Cabot School District and understands that the future would not be kind to her if she stepped away and went somewhere else. PLEASE RETIRE COACH STEWARD!!
